The next time the Moon and Mars conjoin in Aquarius on November 16, they won’t get to make an exact conjunction before Mars slips into watery Pisces. There will be other notable changes in the astro weather then, that suggests that last night’s celestial theatre was truly indicative of the changing of the guard.
The Balsamic Phase represents the work that needs to be done before the beginning of a new cycle. Before planting a new seed into the soil, you need to remove the weeds, turn the soil and fertilise it. Fresh starts can’t occur on old or worn foundations. Even if your energy is low, tying up loose ends helps to begin a new cycle afresh.
In case you didn’t know, I recently had a birthday. It wasn’t just any birthday. It was my 40th. There were no champagne corks popping, parties or middle aged (did I just say that?) cruises to anywhere fancy. It was a lovely dinner for two out in the city and the big day itself was a trip to Byron Bay.
I kind of knew it before I even woke up… it was going to be one of those days. My son tossed and turned through the night, wanting to swap sides or ‘take turns’ as he’d call out in his sleep and demanded I change sides with him as he stole my pillow. Us Mums will do whatever gets us back to sleep ASAP, even if our eyes aren’t fully open and we end up crammed to the edge of the bed- just don’t wake us up!
