Despite being a new month, the first week of August is a bit like July’s hangover. As the Sun and Mercury push through Leo, they activate the opposition to Saturn and the square from Uranus.
Here are a few of my top aspects for the month of August.
Shortly after my 43rd birthday and entering an 8th House profection year, I had a strong urge to do some form of ancestral work. One Saturday afternoon (Saturn’s day) under a Cancer Moon, I felt the need to go through a whole bunch of family memorabilia I decided I didn’t want to keep anymore.
As the Sun pauses and changes direction, you too may like to take time to pause and reflect on the past six months since the December solstice or, around the time Jupiter and Saturn moved into Aquarius and formed their Great Conjunction.

There’s potential this month for some major destabilisation to occur. With Mercury about to station retrograde under the effects of a lunar eclipse that just happened on May 26, I encourage you to give some thought to what changes you may need to make.
