Mercury, Getting Sick and Pushing 40

I love profections. I find them one of the most telling predictive tools in my astrological toolkit and is something I spend a fair amount of time analysing when you have a consultation with me.
However, sometimes like doctors, astrologers make the worst patients in the sense that we don’t always spend time considering the finite points of our own charts!

New Moon in Scorpio

As a fixed or solid sign, Scorpio is associated with the stabilisation of the seasons, giving an acute awareness of the rhythms and cycles of life, death and re-birth. The fixed modality of Scorpio offers the attributes of loyalty, perseverance and commitment.

Mars Pluto- Heavy Metal

Mars’ hot and fiery nature is suitably cooled and tempered in the sign of the mountain goat, just enough to channel your vision, energy and passion for something long lasting and toward something you deeply desire.

Venus in Sagittarius

Venus will enter the archers sign early Tuesday evening Australian time. After a sojourn through the murky depths of Scorpio, Venus the planet of love enters Sagittarius. Moving from a fixed to a mutable sign, you can expect relationships too, to take on a more flexible or adaptable mood.

Full Moon in Aries

The complexity of the ‘me vs. we’ in relationships will be highlighted as the Moon in Aries wants sovereignty and the Sun in Libra seeks togetherness. Mercury and Jupiter also in the sign of the scales suggests that sometimes the biggest awakenings come in the form a change in perspective.

Mercury Rx Hangovers + Weekend Astro

Now that Mercury is in Libra, he adds a touch of this cardinal or moveable energy to the way we communicate and express our ideas. Social interaction is highlighted, and the exchange of thoughts, ideas and perspectives are emphasised. In a Venus ruled sign, you may find you’ll spend a little extra cash on objects of pleasure or experiences that bring you joy.

Mars Square Jupiter- Yes…But Not Yet….

Today and tomorrow (October 5/6) sees Mars and Jupiter make a challenging square connection. Mars is the initiator or an ‘act now’ type of planet. In Capricorn, his willingness to rush is cooled down just enough to slow the pace enough to feel your way through.
